    Job Description:
    Sovos Brands has an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator. This role works with carriers and warehouses to ensure customer deliveries and intra-Sovos shipments are created and delivered on time. This role reports to the Logistics Manager.
    Primary Responsibilities:
    Tender customer shipments, warehouse replenishment orders and inbound material purchases to carriers per Sovos approved routing guide while maximizing trailer utilization (cube and weight) and managing cost.
    Review purchase orders as they arrive to ensure the high standards in the product; enter orders as they arrive in some cases.
    Coordinate resources with Sovos warehouse operations to assist carriers in booking appointments with focus on prioritizing inbound receipts and outbound shipments to maximize customer order fulfillment.
    Measure and monitor on time delivery service levels for a defined region and take proactive action when targets are not being met.
    Audit and approve, deny or adjust carrier unplanned accessorial submissions per policy within required processing timeline.
    Monitor daily delivery activity and communicate/respond to delays.
    Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with carriers, warehouses, customer service and deployment planners.
    Work collaboratively with customer service to provide best in class service to customers (both external and internal).
    Work with other departments to avoid and resolve service related issues for all shipment types.
    Provide ideas for continuous improvement.
    Work within the ERP system to understand ordering and invoicing process.
    Experience with Retail Link and EDI strongly preferred

    Minimum Requirements:
    • A minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain role.
    • 2-5 years of experience in a logistics role and scheduling of inbound and outbound trucks.
    • Supervisory experience in a logistics setting a plus
    • Undergraduate degree or commensurate experience required
